HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012 TO URUAN PEOPLE AT HOME AND IN THE DIASPORA!

As we say farewell to the year 2011, I wish all Uruan people at home and in the diaspora a peaceful and prosperous new year 2012. I pray that as we go forward, no Uruan village or ward is left behind in the progress and development of Akwa Ibom State. I wish them full participation in the equitable dispensations of economic and democratic dividends including the building of accessible roads to link Uruan wards to Uyo the state capital city. I wish Uruan citizens to seize the opportunities that come with democracy to participate actively in the public service. You have the constitutional right to exercise your civil responsibilities to run for local, state, and national offices and demand for full representations in the highest offices of the land. Speak in a collective voice in order for your views to have a lasting impact upon your diverse aspirations.
